Management is reluctant to accept responsibility for issues as black and white as mold. Office hours are unreliably kept.

Normally I would not bother to write a review (and funny enough, my first review was deleted so here it is again.) but I don't want any new college students to be sucked into this complex because of it's amenities. As a total honest review, the apartments themselves are great but overpriced for what you get. The reason you do not want to live here is because of the management. It is horrible. As a manager you would think that a manager of an apartment complex would have some personality. The current manager does not and that is what drives everyone away from this complex. Why any company would want this manager working for them and being the front face for the complex is a mystery to me. If you tell someone on campus where you live they usually respond with a nasty comment about her. The assistants are very friendly but they seem to come and go, which I can imagine why. They also seem to be thrown into the job without proper training. I personally think they take pride in the loud parties that occur at the complex. It is very hard to get sleep sometimes. There is not enough parking by the building you will live at. One morning we woke up to find urine running down the wall of the outside of our apartment door from the stairs above. The maintenance staff is friendly but they are so swamped with all the repairs that it takes forever to get done, if it ever does. Our whole apartment was quite dirty upon move in, when we vacuumed what came up was disgusting. Also, they come unannounced into your apartment. If you live here they will attempt to charge you for things you haven't even done. The security is a joke, usually you can find him watching TV in the clubhouse all night. Cars are towed all the time but the parties never calm down. It is also only on certain days of the week till a certain time which they do not mention. I am fairly certain all the good reviews are mostly written by management themselves, as I hear nothing but complaints. Also, they intend on keeping every cent of deposit you give them. We were originally told it would be returned to us and it was not. We had no damages. I would never want my child to live here. If you want to have loud parties all around you every day of the week, random charges, horrid pet policies, and get attitude every time you walk into the clubhouse that is supposed to be an amenity, then this is the place for you.

The summit owed me a debt due as I had moved out. They signed and copied my room inspection saying that they owed me this debt. They declared it would take two months to process, which is reasonable. After two months, I contacted them and they let me know that they had fined me enough to where I owed the money. I had to stop by the office over a course of 5 months to remind them and show them proof that they had owed me money. The manager routinely told me she would get with her accountant in the next couple of days. Every time I stopped by I had to correct my address and phone number. When the Summit finally decided to send a check, they sent it to the incorrect address.

Changed from two stars to one.

I love my apartment! Chelsea is the best, she is super helpful and the sweetest person! If you keep the apartment clean you shouldn't have any issues! They want to help you with anything you need as long as you are respectful and honest!

My son lived at The Summit for 2 Years. As far as college apt living goes, I guess it was fine. However, the comments that are posted about the manager Debbie are true. She is very unprofessional. I can't imagine the complex owners approval of her behavior especially when it concerns record keeping, money, and parents. Debbie called me in July of 2015 asking if my son was returning in the Fall because his sub-leaser had not paid his July rent and MY SON would not be allowed to return in August. First of all, Debbie should have pulled my son's contract to see that he had signed his contract in Feb for the following year. Then Debbie marched herself down to the Apt demanding payment from the sub-leaser where he then provided a receipt from a July 1st rent payment that Debbie herself initialed. Talk about poor record keeping! And did Debbie bother calling me back explaining her error?!?! No, my son had to call the sub leaser who informed him of the events that had transpired. Needless to say, I sent Debbie ( and CC the complex owners) an email. Be warned Parents: Extremely Difficult Management/ Look Elsewhere

They cannot keep their records of rent payments straight. I pay before the due date, but they do not apply payments to my account. Then they send a threatening collections and eviction notice. Poor unprofessional management.
