When my sweet Roxy passed from cancer last fall, we decided to see what a whole bunch of cats roaming around together would be like. You really can't get anything like an accurate assessment of a cat's temperament when they're in cages - they just want out!
This shelter is the best!!! Loving, caring, compassionate work is being done round the clock to help as many kitties as possible.

Catman2 is an incredible place. Dr. Sims, the founder of the shelter made it his mission to save cats in need and provide a spectacular environment for them to be safe for life. Kaleb, the shelter manager, is an amazing animal lover who goes above and beyond the 9-5 type job and makes his work his whole life. He's been seen crawling under the underpinning of abandoned trailers to rescue an injured cat, fighting for a kitten's life by performing CPR, checking in and offering assistance to adopters and keeping up the entire shelter and caring for up to 100 cats with just a few volunteers. This place is amazing. They will not adopt a cat out to you unless they think you can meet the standards of care for their cats because they clearly love them. There's even a 20 year old cat there and she's been there for her whole life! I have never seen such compassion beyond the walls of this shelter.
Fantastic place where the owner and volunteers really care and go the extra mile. Also provides a ton of community outreach and knowledge about cats in general
There were so many wonderful cats that it was just really hard to choose. We got a 4-year old surrendered black cat named Zeus and a 4 month old kitten named Molly the Ninja. Kaleb was incredibly helpful in the adoption process, and very supportive of our adopting Zeus especially, since black cats are the last to be adopted.
I’ve adopted 2 cats from Catman 2 and highly recommend them. They have great cats and they treat you great. Thanks Caleb!
