This hotel is under major renovation. The lobby is torn to pieces and it looks like total chaos. The room was mostly clean but definitely not worth $120 a night. They didn't even have soap in the bathroom. No coffee anywhere. Not even in the lobby. The door doesn't even lock when you leave. If you forget to turn the lock on the knob...your room will be unlocked all day. We got in At 11 pm and the front desk person was completely out of sorts. Will not stay here again. Only plus..you are literally across from the university. So disappointed. I was hoping to come back for son's graduation in 2019. Now I have to find another place..down the mountain
200 dollars to stay at other hotels .80 dollars here clean friendly clean and off main road very quiet. Great deal.
Until renovations are done dont expect alot but this place served its purpose.
I've stayed here at least twice a year since I graduated in 2005 and am always satisfied and don't plan on ever staying some place else. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. The rooms have recently been renovated and look great. It is so convenient to Western Carolina University. Best place to stay in the area in my opinion; especially if you like supporting local businesses!!
Creepy and secluded. I don't recommend. Stayed one night and just a really bad vibe. TV didn't work no breakfast. Office looks like chaos. No modern conveniences.
Good place very close to wcu if you just need a place to rest your head. Whole place is under renovations and there is no food due to health dept forbidden during renovations but thats okay...we go out to eat
